SDAIP encourages members to take part in Community Action programs that are sponsored by SDAIP and to be very active in their own community. We sponsor several charity events during the year as well as serve lunch every Saturday at Rachel's Women's Center as our main charity focus.
If you would like to volunteer to serve lunch at Rachel's - please email - Nancy.Trejo@safeco.com
Rachel's Women's Center provides a daytime drop-in center for homeless women in downtown San Diego. Rachel's offers lunch, laundry and shower facilities on a first-come, first-served basis.
